Your IP address, browser user agent, and timestamps at the point of provisioning and at acceptance of these terms.

Configuration data

Any data you enter into the administrative facilities associated with your E-BUS Connected site, including contact email addresses, Discord URLs, recruitment preferences, public descriptions, and other configuration information you choose to publish.

Transaction data

Connection and visibility data

We maintain records relating to a corporation's participation in the E-BUS Signal Network, including connection status, reconnection history, holding-page state, provisioning events, and network visibility status.

We do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal data ("special category data" under UK GDPR), and we ask that you do not submit any.

3. How we collect it

4. Why we process it — our purposes and lawful bases

To perform our service to you (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) — contract)

Provisioning and maintaining your participation in the E-BUS Signal Network, generating connected recruitment sites, maintaining holding-page states, generating corporation profile pages, processing reconnection events, and operating related community services.

Our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f))

Maintaining system security and integrity, preventing abuse and fraud, keeping event and audit logs for operational accountability, and improving the Service. You may object to processing on this basis (see Section 8).

Your consent (Article 6(1)(a))

For data you have explicitly chosen to publish on your recruitment site, such as a contact email or Discord URL. You may withdraw that consent at any time by removing the data through your admin panel.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for marketing or advertising purposes. Data is processed by, or shared with, only the following parties:

Visitors to your recruitment site will see the data you have chosen to display on it.

Visitors may also see information published through associated corporation profile pages, blog pages, holding pages, or other E-BUS Signal Network content generated from information you have chosen to publish or information obtained from public EVE Online data sources.

6. International transfers

Twitch is based in the United States; data processed through Twitch's services is transferred outside the UK under Twitch's own published safeguards. Fenris Creations operates in Iceland, which is recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection.

7. How long we retain it

8. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at data-controller@williamson.nu. We will respond within one month.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use essential session cookies and similar technologies required for authentication, administration, security, and operation of the Service. Third-party services embedded within the Service may operate their own cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of credentials at rest, restricted administrative access, and audit logging of changes. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure; in the event of a personal data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the ICO as required by law.

Administrative actions, provisioning events, reconnection events, and security-related activities may be recorded in audit logs for operational and security purposes.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the Service, Twitch, Discord, EVE Online communications, email, or any other reasonable communication channel available to us.

12. Publicly available EVE Online data

The Service makes use of publicly available EVE Online corporation and character information. Information already publicly available through EVE Online, ESI, corporation recruitment tools, killboards, alliance services, or similar public sources does not become private simply because it is displayed through the Service.

The Service may aggregate, display, cache, archive, index, analyse, or republish publicly available EVE Online information where permitted by applicable EVE Online developer policies and terms.
